Mr Chia The key speaker at the 2009 Autumn convention (24th - 26th April 2009) was Christopher Chia who shared some reflections on 1st Corinthians. You can download the messages he have here.

Christopher's introduction to the messages he gave was "1st Corinthians is about God’s Glorious Church, Painful Reality. Come and listen to God speak to us about exorcising worldliness from the church. God will address matters that matter: Church Leaders, Sex, Marriage vs Singleness, Church Splits, Spiritual Gifts, and Love. It will be a Conference that will challenge and change your life! Let us come with humble hearts to hear God speak. And rescue us from our “Corinthian values"

About the speaker:

Christopher Chia is has been pastoring Adam Road Presbyterian Centre (ARPC) in Singapore since 1991 and has been blessed with an international ministry.

Chris comes from a Buddhist-Taoist background and was converted at a Billy Graham Crusade while studying in Sydney. He worked as a journalist before entering fulltime pastoral work. He trained in Moore College and has completed post-graduate work at Oxford, Harvard and Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary.

Chris is married to Mona and they have two teenage children. He loves dogs, and nature.)
