 The theme for six of the messages is Captured by Grace, based on John Newton’s song; Amazing Grace.
In these messages we will take lines from Newton’s hymn, and along with historical illustrations and scriptural exposition, we will see truths that cause us to bow down at the surpassing grace of God. After all, “Twas grace that brought us safe thus far; and grace will lead us home”.

 The key speaker at the 2009 Autumn convention (24th - 26th April 2009) was Christopher Chia who shared some reflections on 1st Corinthians. You can download the messages he have here.
Christopher's introduction to the messages he gave was "1st Corinthians is about God’s Glorious Church, Painful Reality. Come and listen to God speak to us about exorcising worldliness from the church. God will address matters that matter: Church Leaders, Sex, Marriage vs Singleness, Church Splits, Spiritual Gifts, and Love. It will be a Conference that will challenge and change your life!
